FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know before your student's first session. Still curious about something? Just ask.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a session. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session may be charged the full session fee, since that time has been reserved specifically for your student.

How does the first session work?

The first session is all about getting to know your student — their current level, where they feel stuck, and how they learn best. We'll review any recent assignments or tests, set clear goals, and start building a personalized plan from there. No pressure, just a friendly, productive start.

How do virtual sessions work?

Virtual sessions are held one-on-one over Google Meet. We use screen sharing and a digital whiteboard to work through problems together in real time. All your student needs is a device with a camera and a quiet space to focus.

What is your travel range for in-person sessions?

In-person travel sessions are available within the local area on weekends. If you're not sure whether you're within range, just reach out with your location and I'll let you know — I try to be as flexible as possible.

How do I pay for sessions?

Payment is simple and accepted via Venmo or Zelle. Payment details are shared when your session is confirmed, and payment is due at or before each session unless we've arranged otherwise.

Do you offer consistent weekly scheduling?

Yes! Many families reserve the same weekly time slot to build steady momentum and lasting habits. Flexible, custom scheduling is also available on request — just let me know what works for your family.
